where have i been? well, mostly sick. i've had a bad back injury take up 2 months of my life, and a tooth explode on me, and i've been in and out of dental work for the past few months because my jaw is broken and i seriously didn't know until this point. also, i've been playing a LOT of TS4 and have a legacy on tumblr, at morningstarlegacy, it's just casual gameplay. find my cc at 2fingerswhiskey on tumblr, livejournal or dreamwidth
i also have been in hell, my home life is terrible. it's hard to get stuff done when you are treated like a servant. but what's more important is that tux is now FeLV+ (leukemia virus positive) due to an incident beyond my control. this eventually causes bone marrow issues and he may die young, but he is in very good health at the moment and some FeLV+ kitties live a very long time. PLEASE do your very best to keep your cats indoors so they don't get sick or hurt. we nearly lost him. he's doing much much better but has his "down days" - his sister marmalade, and his gf dwellie are doing fine but both hate each other because they want tux's attention which is. so stereotypical. give it a rest gals
also the title for this episode is based off of probably my favourite canadian band, the tragically hip, go listen to that song (and also bobcaygeon which is beautiful and stunning and voted their best song for decades, if you watch anne with an e you'll know that they did the theme tune, ahead by a century)
otherwise, things haven't changed much, just trying to relax. my mental health has been getting steadily better but it's then beat down by parents that are just pieces of garbage so. there's that. i'm hoping to get on income assistance and get placed with an apartment soon, they just overhauled it ;u;
