We recently collaborated with researchers at @CalStateNorthridge (CSUN) on a groundbreaking project that includes prosthetic arms and virtual reality.
In this video, esteemed professors Dr. Bishay (Professor of Mechanical Engineering), Dr. Hinkel-Lipsker (Professor of Kinesiology), and Dr. Drew (Professor of Psychology) introduce a groundbreaking invention: a prosthetic arm that can be controlled with the foot. The team realized the potential of virtual reality (VR) in providing a practice environment for users to familiarize themselves with the prosthetic arm. This is where our expertise comes in. As experienced software professionals, we were thrilled to collaborate with CSUN and develop a virtual reality app that enables users to practice using the prosthetic arm in a simulated environment.
