Installing Porsche 997 Adaptive Sport Seats
So I was fortunate enough to score a set of Sport Seats from The Salvage Guys (www.thesalvageguys.com).
However, my car had both heated and power and I wanted to retain both features if I went sport seats. You see not all sport seats are the same - some are manual with no heat. These are both heated and power and referred to as Adaptive Sport Seats.
Although "adaptive" makes it sound super cool like some auto adjustment at g-forces - but its not. It is still cool, but what it refers to is these bags in the bolsters that allow you to firm or soften the sides to your liking.
That said though, the question really is - will they fit with the factory plugs and retain all the options? Or... is it really just a plug and play install??
