How to Set the Default Internet Browser on Your Windows 11 PC (Settings Tutorial)
To set your preferred web browser as the default on Windows 11, follow these steps:
Open Settings.
Click on Apps.
On the right side, select Default apps.
Choose the browser you want to use as the new default. For example, you can select Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
Click on the .htm option.
Select Switch anyway.
Choose Google Chrome (or your preferred browser).
Click OK.
Repeat steps 5 to 8 for the following file or link types:
.html
.pdf
.shtml
.svg
.webp
.xht
FTP
HTML
HTTPS
Once you complete these steps, your chosen browser will be the new system default on Windows 11. Keep in mind that Windows 11 is still in preview, so the process may change in the final product
