What is it like on board the Sky Princess for a Day at Sea? I take you through my notes from two weeks on board the Sky Princess for what we found fun during our stay on board. I show you some of the activities we commonly found ourselves doing to give you a flavour of what a day on board or in port might look like for you if you enjoy similar things to us. For us a good day includes starting with the unhosted Bible study, breakfast in the buffest 'World Fresh Marktplace' followed by a nap! We'd mooch about and enjoy our balcony room and some live music before probably a light lunch listening to Cassie Mathews or a string trio or some other musical wonder(!) in the piazza. We might do some line dancing or a music class - steel pans were a favourite! And some days when afternoon tea could be squeezed in were fun days!! We also enjoyed use of the gym and running track before sneaking into the hot tubs and pools while everyone else went off to get ready for dinner from the top deck! If there was time for a game show or a quiz we'd be keen and particularly enjoyed the 'dress to impress' (aka formal) nights and meeting new people over dinner together before our highlight of going to the theatre. We loved The Westenders both times they performed and there were some truly incredible performances while we were onboard!! I still find myself excited by the lighting design and my appreciation for the house band! We would then wind down either with more music or a wander on the top deck in the cool of the night before crashing out! Such fun!

The background to this is that I went on my first ever repositioning cruise and we sailed with Princess Cruises on the new Sky Princess ship and had a fantastic time. Here's a little of the behind-the-scenes of our days onboard with Princess Cruises, delivered from our flat in London!

We embarked from Southampton and traveled across the Atlantic ocean to Miami - Fort Lauderdale. We stopped off at The Azores and St Maarten and Antigua - and had an absolute blast along the way.
