Destructive cyberattacks on critical infrastructure in the context of RU-UA war - Oleksandr Adamov
Destructive cyber-attacks against critical infrastructure have shown to be an essential threat for states relying on digital services nowadays. The destructive operations may include both cyberattacks against industrial control systems (e.g., BlackEnergy, Industroyer) as well as critical government services and can be used as an element of a hybrid war.
In the talk, we’ll consider attacks run by the Russian military intelligence (GRU) group called Sandworm against Ukraine’s critical infrastructure and government services to show how cyber operations may have a significant impact on state security.
