Interview with the commander of the 16th Army, Lieutenant General Rokossovsky, about the retreat of German troops near Moscow in December 1941 and the courage and heroism of Soviet soldiers. The filming was carried out in the Istra region by cameramen from the North-Western Front film group Roman Karmen and Reuben Khalushakov, and synchronous sound recording was carried out in parallel with the newsreels. The newsreel has been restored in color.
