India Women showed great character and determination to take an early lead in this three-match ODI series. However the spin department is a bit inexperienced with Nonkululeko Mlaba and Nondumiso Shangase needing to do a lot more to exploit the conditions here. The Proteas will hope their bowlers can deliver early breakthroughs and contain the Indian batting lineup. As the series progresses both teams have a lot at stake.
The Proteas will be hoping to bounce back and level the series while the Women in Blue will aim to seal the series with one game to spare. The battle between India's spin attack and South Africa's batting lineup promises to be an exciting contest.
