Earlier today, the Legends of Runeterra team revealed the first set of new Shurima cards from the upcoming expansion Empires of the Ascended which is set to release on March 3rd. Along with the new Legends of Runeterra cards comes a sneak peek at a new keyword: Countdown. I decided to pull off another spoiler review while in my pajamas and go over everything shown today. Since there was no new Champion today, this review was a very measured approach since there seems to be more than meets the eye with these cards especially with the rest of the set not being revealed yet.
