Renault grand scenic III 2009 parking brake Actuator Issue
How to dismantle the parking brake actuators and overhaul it and put it back.
First of all remove the two T30 screws holding it to Caliper.
Then gentry remove the actuator and disconnect the electric connections.
Renault used quite shitty insulation in Electrics that’s why water ingresses. I removed this yello insulation and filled the connector with special sugary grease.
Then Dismantle the motor cleaned with wd40 and sand paper.
Next free the jammed pullies using pliers and little force. Clean connections and test the motor.
Finally use glue or tiger seal to seal the unit and put back in.
