Jason is a serial entrepreneur, inventor, speaker, author, and recovering consultant. In 2013 founded MARAMOJA Transport, the first taxi app in Africa, and has served as Executive Chairman since transitioning from CEO in 2017. MARAMOJA now supports more than 30,000 taxi drivers across Kenya and is scaling across Africa through a tech franchising model. In 2018, Jason founded UTU House, a vibrant community space for AI and Blockchain projects in Nairobi, Kenya and in 2020 co-founded BitLipa, a free platform for global remittances. He serves on the board of Israid Kenya and advisory boards of a number of African tech startups
