Daring Prison Escape Crosses: The Real Story
Escape from “Crosses” is by no means an easy matter. In total, in the history of the pre-trial detention center, they tried to get out of it only three times: in 1922, 1991 and 1992. The final escape, however, was particularly distinctive. We tell the story of the most famous escape attempt from “Kresty”, during which seven prisoners led by Yuri Perepelkin raised eyebrows throughout St. Petersburg.
